In ‘Peeping’ I am looking to capture the sense of a person by photographing the things they surround themselves with.
My main point of interest is the home of that individual. The series is not, however, confined to the abode.
I look for what’s there in the moment I make my visit, abstaining from rearranging the given. I am always aware that the given is a temporary and momentary occurrence, but, more often than not, can show greater authenticity
than the constant and consistent.
I am very grateful to everyone who has let me into their private space, allowing me to observe their surroundings and thereby making this series possible.
